The hotel was located close enough to the local square, city centre and all restaurants and attractions. The room was new-fashioned and tidy with the church view, I had a good rest. There were an electric kettle, a fridge, and glassware upon arrival...

Navigating the numerous light switches was frustrating. Several served no purpose, and I had to remove the room power card just to turn off the toilet light. The entrance managed to add a dash of grime with its location in a dirty alley, which didn't set a great tone for what was inside.

The ambiance was captivating, with a chic decor. The amazing view of the nearby Baroque basilica from our room was a perfect way to start the day, and a complimentary breakfast in bed added a good touch to our mornings. The staff coordinated a nice private trip to Mount Etna was great but lovely!

Our stay lasted four nights, and while we appreciated the spa facilities, the uncomfortable room layout was hard to overlook. The bathtub took up significant space. Future guests should request a room with a better view and layout .
